THE BAND

Hamburg's biting beast is on the hunt again. Greedy, voracious and with a bite force that leaves clear marks.

GODSNAKE celebrates modern Melodic Thrash Metal / Heavy Metal of the present with reference to some groundbreaking old masters. Straight, hard, riff orientated - but without a lack of catchiness and hooklines.  To be more precise, here’s what you can expect to hear on the third and latest longplayer „INHALE THE NOISE“ of Hamburgs hottest groove and riff monster: continuous fire of uncompromising and neck breaking guitar riffs. Powerful, energetic vocals with harmonies perfectly completing the song´s purpose. Killer guitar solos blending into epic and atmospheric leads, a massive bass foundation that nails down the proper metal sound and meaning and moreover pounding and impulsive drums that are always pushing the tracks to the edge. This oeuvre certainly constitutes the most perfected effort of the band so far.

The reptile has been wreaking havoc in the scene since 2015 and has successfully nestled in the metallic jungle. Torger (vocals), Stevo (guitar), The Walt (bass) and Sidney (drums) repeatedly underline how much enthusiasm and passion they have for their music and manage to bring exactly this concentrated energy onto stage.

Audiences in Germany and some neighbor countries celebrated GODSNAKE live with Rage, Brainstorm, Motorjesus, Emil Bulls, The Unity, April Art, Iron Savior, Axxis and as main support on the "Through Time Tour" of British masters Threshold through Germany, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland. The band has successfully played some damn cool and valued festivals and was able to convince audiences and organizers and made the stages shake, for example Radio Bob Rockcamp at the Kieler Woche, Rock In Rautheim, Hamburg Metal Dayz, Helmfest and many more.

The international snake community continues to grow consistently, last but not least because of partnering up with renowned booking partner Dragon Productions in 2025.

With great ambitions, the band has built on a professional foundation from the very beginning. Just like their debut album POISON THORN (CD, 10/2020) and its successor EYE FOR AN EYE (CD, Vinyl, 5/2023), their third album INHALE THE NOISE (CD, Vinyl 4/2026) will also be released worldwide via Massacre Records, thus benefiting from the support of a successful distribution network both physically and digitally.

Lasse Lammert, the mastermind of Lübeck based LSD Studios (Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Raven, Wind Rose and many more), is responsible for the fat sound of all three albums (recording, mix, master). After Wayne Dorman of Onslaught made a great guest appearance on the second album with the guitar solo for "Story Of A Ghost", the band was able to secure none other than Jean Bormann, six string monster of the German metal titans Rage, for three outrageously awesome solos for the third album.

The motto for the cover and artwork is also: never change a winning team. The band worked with Björn Gooßes / Killustrations (including Amon Amarth, Death Angel, Hatesphere, Sodom) on all albums. Björn knows perfectly how to inspire the band with his style and create suitable imagery for their music.

In addition, the experienced Hamburg photographer Franz Schepers (Helloween, Joachim Witt, Smudo among others) recently created the impressive photo series for the new album which perfectly blends into the artwork of Björn Gooßes.

Last but not least… GODSNAKE has some fantastic video clips to offer created by great filmmakers. Mirko Witzki / Witzki Visions (Doro, Arch Enemy, Electric Callboy, Emil Bulls, among others), Andy Pilkington / Very Metal Art (e.g. Judas Priest, Flotsam & Jetsam, Venom Inc.), Ingo Spörl / Hard Media (Sabaton, Avantasia, among others) have done a fantastic jobs again to depict the meaning and transport the emotions of the songs in GODSNAKE style.

Some great gigs for 2026 have been confirmed. But as the beast's greed and hunger grows, planning for further live raids is in full swing.

Watch out for the beast to bite you – watch out for GODSNAKE
